The OPNE started with the Philippine Conference on New Evangelization which is a milestone in the Church’s journey and a concrete response to her call as well as a reawakening to the second Plenary Council of the Philippines (PCP II’s) vision of renewed integral evangelization.
The PCNE is a three-day conference which intends to help create an experience of God in the context of the challenge of the new millennium. It is also aims to strengthen bonds of communion as the archdiocese of Manila and Church in the Philippines and to provide avenues of inspiration and directions imbued with the spirit of mission for evangelization in our contemporary world.
PCNE is designed based on the three events in the life of Jesus that serves as inspiration and framework of the conference:
