"Stay with us Lord."
In the Gospel of Luke 24:29, we find a profound illustration of the power of walking together in the light of the Gospel. The verse recounts the journey of two disciples on the road to Emmaus, who were filled with sorrow and confusion after the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. As they walked together, deep in conversation, Jesus himself appeared to them, though they did not recognize him at first. Through this encounter, we witness the transformative effect of walking together in faith and how it can lead to profound revelations and spiritual growth.
With its theme “HAWAK-KAMAY: Simbahan at Bayan, Sabay sa Paglalakbay” rooted in the Gospel principles, becomes an opportunity for families, societies, and church communities to unite and embark on a shared journey of spiritual growth. Just like the disciples on the road to Emmaus, families may sometimes find themselves burdened by the trials and challenges of life, seeking solace and understanding.
By coming together in a conference setting, they create an environment where they can openly discuss their struggles, share their faith, and draw strength from one another.
